Stylishly designed, this holiday cottage is set in a quiet location within a short walk of the beautiful sandy beach at Camber Sands, providing a special coastal getaway for families and couples.

A stylish and comfortable beach house nestled behind the dunes of Camber Sands, a gently shelving fine sandy beach. With miles of golden dunes on your doorstep, this is a house to enjoy the pleasures of seaside living. Plenty of relaxation and family entertainment are a short walk away, as well as a wide range of water sports including kite surfing, sailing, paddle boarding and windsurfing. A short drive away is the charming medieval town of Rye, home to quaint cobbled streets, independent shops, a Kino boutique cinema and some good antique shops in which to while away an afternoon browsing vintage finds. For those looking to venture slightly further afield, Dungeness Nature Reserve offers big skies, striking scenery and contemporary architecture plus a miniature steam railway. Visit Derek Jarman’s coastal garden and buy fresh fish direct from the boats. There is an abundance of castles, gardens, and family attractions to visit within a short drive including Rye Citadel, Rye Harbour nature reserve, Bodiam Castle, Great Dixter House and Gardens, Port Lympe Safari Park and Lydd Aqua Park. Hastings Old Town and trendy St Leonard’s are a half hour’s drive away down the coast, as is Folkestone with its growing public art trail and harbour arm food trucks.

The front door of this bright and airy property leads into a spacious and welcoming lounge that offers two large sofas on which to relax after a busy day. On chilly evenings, light the wood burner and curl up in front of the Smart TV to catch up on your favourite programmes or listen to some music on the SONOS Speaker. Double doors open into the bright kitchen/diner, overlooking the coastal garden with a large vintage dining table and seating for all the family. Foodies will appreciate the well-appointed kitchen and everything you need for creating delicious family meals including an electric oven, gas hob, dishwasher, fridge and coffee machine. A separate utility cupboard discreetly hides the microwave and washing machine. You will also find an extra fridge and a freezer in the garden room. There are three ground-floor king-size bedrooms, two of which have French doors that open out onto the decked garden, perfect for enjoying a morning cappuccino in bed and listening to the waves crashing on the nearby beach whilst you plan your day ahead. All bedrooms have digital radios and one has a Smart TV. The property has two shower rooms with a shower and WC.

Heading outside, there is a good-sized, fully enclosed and very private garden which is a wonderful sun trap all day and an oasis of calm. A large teak patio table and chairs, built-in charcoal BBQ and sun loungers form the perfect spot to enjoy a glass of local fizz whilst watching the sunset over the dunes and listening to the evening bird song at the end of a beautiful day.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.
