This beautifully built timber lodge is a pleasant spacious and airy one-storey holiday let, perfect for family holidays, a reunion of friends or special occasions spent in the Kent countryside.

Located in a pretty rural location with easy access to the North Downs Way makes this property a great spot for keen walkers and cyclists. The historic village of Lenham is only 3 miles away and is a quintessential Kent village with many independent shops, tearooms, and pubs. For those looking for a spot of retail therapy, the nearby towns of Canterbury and Ashford offer shopping and popular family attractions such as Canterbury Cathedral. Leeds Castle (7miles) makes for a great family day out, and there are a whole host of stunning National Trust houses, gardens, and other wonderful locations that will keep the family entertained. For those looking to head to the Kent coastline, there are many sandy beaches to enjoy that are about 16 miles away and perfect for a day at the seaside.

As you enter the light-filled timber lodge which is located on the owners' grounds, leave your coats and boots in the entrance hall and continue through to the main living area. This spacious and bright area features an open-plan lounge/kitchen/dining area and French doors opening onto a decked area. In the kitchen, you will find an electric oven and hob, microwave, dishwasher, and fridge/freezer. Whip up a delicious family meal before sitting down to dine at the dining table with seating for all overlooking the fields outside before retreating to the cosy lounge area for the rest of the evening. Here there is a large comfortable corner sofa perfect for unwinding in front of the Smart TV/ DVD player. Heading back into the hallway you will find 3 bedrooms, a king-size with an en-suite shower room with shower and WC, a super-king-size zip-and-link that can be made into a twin upon request, and a further twin bedroom all of which have Smart TVs. Two of the bedrooms share a bathroom which has a shower over the bath and WC, and the property is completed with a handy utility room with a washing machine.

Heading outside there is a large, decked area that wraps around the property and features patio seating for six guests before a set of steps leads down to a lawned area for children to play on. Enjoy a morning coffee and watch the sunrise in the distance overlooking the stunning fields and countryside beyond. There is private parking for three cars.

The lodge was everything we expected and more. Beautiful location for exploring Kent or just relaxing and enjoying nature. The owners had thought of everything for us and our canine friend. The cream tea awaiting us was a lovely touch along with milk, coffee and tea. Looking forward to staying there again. Thank you Debbie and Darren
