Property code: WCC19

Spacious open-plan property sleeping four guests, sitting right on the beach at the village of Seasalter in East Kent, just two miles from popular Whitstable.

Enjoying a fantastic seafront location in the quiet village of Seasalter, this beautiful beachside property is perfect for getting away from it all and finding a private paradise. Just a short walk from a well-regarded gastropub, and 2 miles from the popular seaside town of Whitstable, there is something for everyone and the opportunity to do as much or as little as desired.

On arrival, guests enter the cottage's large open-plan living area where they will find a light-filled space with a lovingly chosen collection of eclectic furnishings and features that lend the space a wonderful homely feel. There are plenty of spots to relax while enjoying uninterrupted views to the beach, with a warming wood burner creating a cosy atmosphere in the cooler months. However, when the sun comes, it's time to throw open the full-width bi-folding patio doors and connect the living area with the wide decked terrace immediately outside. Beyond this is a beach garden where guests will find a picnic table and a BBQ, which is the ideal spot for enjoying al fresco drinks and meals while listening to the gentle sound of the waves on the shore as the sun goes down. Once night falls, head back inside to the property's two bedrooms: an attractive double room with an en-suite wet room and a second double bedroom, next to a second wet room.

A gate at the end of the garden leads directly onto the beach, which is where adventures begin. Head west along the beach to the local gastropub and nature walks across the Kent marshes beyond, or turn east for Whitstable. Here, guests will find a huge range of restaurants and pubs – many serving locally caught seafood specialities – as well as a number of artists' galleries and independent shops.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

The cottage is in a fabulous location right on the beach with amazing views out to sea...we could watch dramatic skies crossing the horizon from the safety of two comfy chairs in front of the log burner. A lovely, beautiful property right on the beach with stunning sea views. 2 pubs with lovely food within a short walk, Oyster Pearl and Rose in Bloom both dog friendly. We will definitely be booking again in the future.

Wonderful beach house with amazing views of the sea and sunsets. Very well equipped, clean and finished to a high standard. A lovely walk into Whitstable which for a round trip is about 5 miles. No sand so not ideal for small children or pampered pooches who refuse to walk on pebbles but there are alternative coastal paths. Nearby are Faversham, BrRead moreoadstairs and Minis beach so lots to do. Hide

Really lovely cottage and the sea view when the tide is in is beautiful. The beech is a pebbled beach and there was a lot of seaweed on the seafront do it was not conducive to bathe. However the view was beautiful.

We did have a nice restful week at the chalet, the views are lovely and the locals are friendly. We went to Whitstable which is very nice to wander round and lots of places to eat, we also went to Minnis Bay, Herne Bay and Broadstairs. The beach at Seasalter was disappointing as it is all pebbles which is hard to walk on but we walked along the seaRead more wall instead. Hide

The location of the chalet overlooking the sea was superb but walking on the beach without wellingtons not advisable - very muddy.

What an amazing place. Not too close to town but not too far away, Pull back the by-fold doors and let the beach in or close them up and snuggle down to a book by the log burner. Our family had an amazing time and if we make it to that part of the country again, I know where we are stopping...!
