Contemporary three-storey townhouse situated in the Sovereign Marina harbourside development, two and a half miles to the east of Eastbourne town centre.

This property is fantastically situated for those who enjoy eating out whilst on holiday, as it is situated in the modern Sovereign Marina complex, where contemporary residential properties sit within a short walk of an excellent choice of waterfront restaurants and bars. There is also a multiplex cinema within the development, and a handy supermarket. A pleasant walk amongst the yachts around the harbour brings guests to the seafront where the beach is overlooked by a Martello Tower, one of 103 towers which were built along the south coast as coastal defences in the early 19th century.

On arrival at this property, guests will first come to a hall which leads onto the contemporary kitchen where they will find everything they need to make themselves at home, including an oven, hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, and dishwasher. The washing machine, meanwhile, can be found housed separately in the property’s garage. A dining table is also found in the kitchen, as is a TV which makes it easy for guests to enjoy spending time in this room. Also on this floor is the first of four bedrooms, a restful single room next to which there is a cloakroom with WC. Stairs lead to the first floor where the attractive lounge/diner is located. This light, bright space has deep sofas from which guest can catch up with a favourite programme on the TV, and, to the rear of the room, a dining table suitable for family meals. Patio doors in this room open onto a small balcony, allowing guests to enjoy the fresh sea air. There is a second single bedroom on this floor with a cupboard full of toys and games, as well as the main bathroom which offers a bath, shower, and WC. Two further bedrooms can be found on the second floor of the property, the first of which is an attractive master bedroom suite with a double bed and an en-suite bathroom with a shower over bath and WC. The fourth bedroom is another double room, this one with an en-suite shower and WC.

Outside, there is a pretty flower-filled garden to the front of the property, and a sunny patio to the rear which is accessed through the kitchen and offers garden furniture, perfect for al fresco dining. There is private off-road parking provided.

The location of the anchorage was wonderful. It was a short walk to the grocery along the marina and to where we took our training. Exceptionally quiet and it thoroughly accommodated our needs for three independent parties sharing one home . Other than recommending a deep cleaning and that the staff thoroughly checks out the home prior to arrival oRead moref visitors, I highly recommend the Anchorage . Hide

Excellent position to explore local and further afield. Very comfortable and spacious but lacks a few premium touches that would help better reflect the cost.

Just returned from family vacation. Great area situated next for the marina and short walk to beach front. Property layout wasn't ideal for young family with a baby and toddler. Tidy and nicely decorated however quite tired and needing some tlc in areas.
