The cottage was lovely as was the location. It was very inviting - the welcome tray and fresh flowers were such a nice surprise. Could not fault it.

A lovely cottage with great modern facilities. We loved the huge double bed, I have never slept in one so big! The shower was very good. The village is perfect with 2 great pubs, a village green, shop next door & all set in a wonderful location. The Crown over the road does a great spare rib dinner, which I had twice. Both pubs welcome dogs. RaysteRead morede Centre for Animals is a great way to spend a day & it's free to look round. Leonardslee Gardens is gorgeous anytime of the year. Wonderful holiday. Hide

The cottage was well furnished and presented in a beautiful location. The owners kindly left us welcoming treats, which after a long drive was very much appreciated.

Very comfortable cottage in a beautiful location. Childrens park nearby and surrounded by woods and forests which are great for dog walking. Villagers are very friendly and keen to stop and chat about the lovely village they live in. The only drawback the occasional early morning delivery to the small shop next door which woke the dog up.

We loved every moment of our stay at the cottage. The village is beautiful with plenty to do in the surrounding areas. So many little extra touches which made this house feel like our home. The Crown across the road was wonderful and very friendly and they knew our drinks order by the end of the week. Lovely cottage, centre of village. Shop next door , two pubs both very friendly and welcoming. Coastal places like Seaford, Brighton about 30 miles away. Took time to reach as the roads are single in most cases. But beautiful views on the way.

The Cottage is beautiful, comfortable and well-equipped, in a quiet location in a pretty village. The property is old so the stairs are narrow and turning and the floors upstairs slope a little disconcertingly, but for us that just added to the charm. We always appreciate a good shower (tick), a large bed (tick, tick), reliable wifi (tick), dedicatRead moreed parking (tick) and accessible and helpful but not intrusive owners (tick, tick). All in all, a great place to stay. Hide
