The compact kitchen fitted with pretty tiles allows you to whip up a romantic meal for two to enjoy at the pull-out dining table. Lovingly decorated, the bedrooms boast views of the garden, starting off your morning with a reminder of your tranquil surroundings.

There are a variety of pretty walks surrounding the cottage that take advantage of the peaceful countryside and the setting of the High Weald Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. We extended our stay at the Cow Shed, the venue was perfect, clean, comfortable with everything we needed, Debra and Dan - the owners - were efficient, friendly and nothing was too much trouble. I cannot recommend the venue, the owners or the area highly enough.

A really comfortable place to base ourselves to explore this part of Kent and Sussex. Lots to see and do locally and we appreciated the OS map of the area left in the cottage. We walked, visited gardens, houses, castles and the coast at Rye and Hastings - all within easy driving distances. Several delis, cafes and patisseries nearby too.
