A charming and romantic getaway in a pretty countryside location on the Sussex coast. This cosy studio flat is the perfect spot to enjoy a holiday with your loved one just a short distance from the ancient village of Pevensey and within easy reach of pristine beaches and popular towns.

Privacy is assured at this ground-floor studio flat located on the owner’s grounds. There is a contemporary kitchenette with an oven, hob and fridge and a two-seater dining table - perfect for preparing a romantic home-cooked meal together. You can also enjoy an evening in front of the TV with access to the full Sky package, Netflix and Amazon Prime. Outside of the flat is an enclosed garden with a table and chairs, perfect for watching the sunset after a busy day exploring the Sussex coast.

Just 4 miles away sits the picturesque village of Pevensey. For a small village, there is so much to do here. Pevensey Castle has a rich and diverse history including its Roman and Saxon roots. A little further is Pevensey Bay, an old fishing village that boasts a pretty beach backed by the rolling hills of the South Downs. Enjoy soaking up the sun, taking part in windsurfing or walking the superb coastline. Bexhill-on-Sea (12.5 miles) is a lovely town comprising of many galleries and museums to peruse, as well as its own beach to enjoy. Eastbourne, known as the UK’s sunniest place, is just 6 miles in the opposite direction, and well worth a day out visiting the pier, harbour and many eateries.

Have stayed in a number of holiday lets over the years and this one has to be low on the list. This one feels like work in progress and needs a number of improvements to get up to standard. Despite the Sky TV bundle it left a lot to be desired.

Had a really enjoyable week, made even better by the good weather. We actually wanted to stay longer but unfortunately couldnt. But will definitely recommend and come back again. Xx
