This quaint and quirky eco cottage has been beautifully designed for a cosy getaway for two, with exposed beams, a loft bed and wrap-around deck outside and is located in the glorious countryside setting of Pett.

This gorgeous eco lodge is situated on farmland in the village of Pett in East Sussex. The village itself is quiet and yet has two inviting pubs, The Two Sawyers and The Royal Oak. The village lies between the towns of Hastings and Rye, both of which are within a 20 minute drive. Hastings is a classic English seaside town, steeped in history, it also has a selection of shops and restaurants. Rye has a very different feel, with its cobbled streets, independent boutiques, antique shops and many fabulous places to eat. There is also a bijou independent cinema here, making it a great destination for an evening out.

This delightful off-grid eco lodge is the perfect place for a romantic getaway. Arriving at the property, through the surrounding farmland, you will marvel at just how comfortable and well-equipped this lodge is, despite it being just 2.4m wide and 4.5m long. The compact kitchen area has a small sink and hob, with all the pots, pans and crockery that two people would need. The nearby barn houses the fridge/freezer, but there is also a cold box for drinks on the porch. In the summer months, you will probably want to eat most of your meals outside, but there is also a pull-out table inside, with seating for two. A comfortable sofa is a lovely place to snuggle up and enjoy the quiet location in the evenings and although the house is off-grid, the solar panels make it self-sufficient, meaning that you are able to charge a laptop or tablet. To the rear of the property is a shower and dry toilet, the water for the shower is gas-heated. Climb the ladder up to your comfortable double loft bed. The bed even has its own window, so you can enjoy the stunning views from your pillow.

The outside space is just as important to this property as the inside space, and if you want to connect with nature and get away from modern life then this is the place for you. A wooden deck wraps around the house, where you can sit and enjoy the rural surroundings. There is a cowboy-style campfire for you to enjoy, making meals a fun experience. The house is situated in a large field, surrounded by farmland and provides guests with a unique, quirky, yet comfortable experience.
