This lovingly decorated cottage is located on a sheep and fruit farm, nestled in the pretty village of Sissinghurst, a picture-perfect Kent village, with a local pub, shops, and restaurant. under 0.25 miles of Sissinghurst Castle, it is ideal for keen gardeners who can also explore nearby Great Dixter and Pashley Manor Gardens. Heading a little further from the cottage will lead you to the market town of Tenterden with its wide selection of independent shops along a beautiful tree-lined high street; Leeds Castle, a great family day out; and a whole host of stunning National Trust houses, vineyards and numerous other wonderful locations. For those who like the great outdoors, there are some lovely local walks which can be finished with a stop at the local pub for a spot of refreshment.  Please be advised that due to current restrictions you will need to pre-book tickets for the local attractions directly.

The kitchen area has all the equipment you would expect, including an electric oven and hob, dishwasher, microwave, fridge/freezer and washing machine. Enjoy relaxed meals at the dining table with seating for four, before heading into the lounge to relax on one of the comfortable sofas in front of the Smart TV or to enjoy a selection of board games and books. The property has two bedrooms: a king-size  and a super king-size zip-and-link (can be made up as a twin on request), both with en-suite shower rooms with shower and WC.

French windows in the lounge lead out to a south-facing patio area with a patio table and chairs and a BBQ. By arrangement, there is access to the owner's farm where guests can enjoy a tour of the orchards and the sheep meadows. There is private parking for two cars and the owner can arrange bicycle storage.

Great location for National Trust properties which was the purpose of our visit. Accommodation had a warm feeling when you walked in and was comfortable. No WiFi for most of week which was a bit disappointing but was sorted by the time we left.

Quiet and very well located cottage. Good equipped although a single high backed chair in the living room would improve comfort further. Small but well stocked shop and pub within easy reach. Very old typical English pub a bit further away. Many interesting places within an hour drive or less. Very relaxing atmosphere.

This is a lovely little escape from the city. The accommodation was spotlessly clean with everything one could need for a self catering holiday. As it was, the place is surrounded by lovely country pubs so we didn't exactly do a lot of cooking... but it was all there if we had needed it. The beds and bedding were so comfortable we would have packedRead more them in our suitcases if we could have fitted them in. Sissinghurst Castle and Garden is just accross the road and well worth a visit. Hide

A lovely clean, comfortable and cosy cottage that catered for 4 adults perfectly. The location is perfect for all the historic houses and gardens in this part of Kent. In fact, Sissinghurst Castle and gardens is just over the road. Old town Hastings was a fabulous surprise and Pashley Manor Gardens well worth a visit.
