This light and airy property is located near to the seafront at Camber Sands, which, as its name suggests, is a beautiful sandy beach, suitable for sandcastle building, beach games or just relaxing. There is even a dedicated area for kite-surfers, where you can either try your hand or simply watch the pros as they navigate the wind and waves. Within a fifteen-minute drive of the property is the historic town of Rye, with its cobbled streets, olde worlde pubs, fresh local fish available and interesting array of independent shops,  which together make it a lovely day trip destination.

The lounge area is contemporarily styled and has two sofas, a cosy rug and TV with DVD player, as well as an iPod docking system. In one of the windows is a glass dining table seating four. The kitchen to the far side of the room, has everything you will need, including an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge and separate freezer, dishwasher and washer/dryer. There is also a cloakroom on the ground floor. Stairs lead to the first floor where you will find the bedrooms. The master bedroom has a double bed and en-suite shower room and is beautifully styled with an eye-catching feature wall. The second bedroom has two single beds, which can be made up as a super-king sized double, should you prefer. The main bathroom has a shower over bath.

To the front of the property is a wooden bench where you can sit in the sunshine and enjoy a drink. There is parking for one or two cars.

There was allways a parking space around the corner. A holiday with two small children is possible, but we had to secure the stairs with the laundry rack.

The home was stylishly decorated throughout and it was a pleasure to come back to after our long days exploring. It was lovely and warm too even though the heating was not on. It was clean, bright, with everything you could wish for in the kitchen and lounge. Having 2 bathrooms plus a downstairs loo was excellent. We even had a lovely treat of a caRead moreke, biscuits and juice on arrival. You couldn't park directly outside but visitor parking spaces were always available just around the corner . Hide

Shocked on arrival to find property definitely NOT cottage in middle of housing estate. In advert says bench outside to sit enjoying glass of wine...didn't state our view would be dustbin store! No parking allocated to property which wasn't completely clear in advert.Comfortable beds and nice bathrooms.

Great first impression of this cute and tastefully decorated home. So much more comfortable than a hotel. Perfect for a family break away, making happy beach memories. Will come again!

A very relaxing break with lots of fresh air. We walked the Tranquility at Rye Harbour route as recommended in the welcome book - lovely stark landscape and lots of birds. Troubadour is a very well equipped property with gorgeous features. We very much enjoyed our stay.

Fabulously appointed and clean holiday retreat. More bathrooms than a bathroom shop, which is a good thing! We were here for a week with a 17 week old and a six year old and never ran out of things to do. A lovely holiday cottage type experience. We'll recommend to all and sundry.

We had a lovely bank holiday weekend here. Troubadour is a lovely clean contemporary yet homely base for a break in Camber. Camber Sands beach is beautiful, especially for little ones! Highly recommended!

After a hiccup at another property, we unexpectedly ended up at Troubadour - and so glad we did! It felt like a home away from home and is so well equipped with good quality kit. Just a short walk to the beach we were lucky with the weather and visited every day - our 18 month old LOVED it.!! We also went to the Rare Breeds Farm and Port Lympne SafRead moreari and can highly recommend both. And Rye is lovely for a stroll around the gift/homeward shops, plus the market on Thursdays. What a great spot! Would love to visit again..! Hide

Our second stay at Troubadour and yet again we've had the most wonderful time. Our son is a year older and our new addition has joined in the fun. The cottage is in such a fantastic position, close to the beach, farms, zoos, Rye village/harbour & Hastings. It's just perfect. We hope to spend many more family breaks at this beautiful (and family friRead moreendly) home. The fabulous weather has made this an amazing break where lots of fond memories have been made... Hide

I just wanted to say how impressed I was with the house in Camber. It was so clean and welcoming and had everything that I needed, and certainly didn't need to bring my 'flash' or my own towels as the house was immaculate. The magazines and welcome pack is a really nice touch and delicious although my god children seem to have eaten all of the treaRead morets! I would definitely stay at 'Troubadour' again. Being able to talk to a real person and receiving a personal email when booking, rather than an automated message is also very personable. Hide
