This stunning one bedroom apartment offers stylish and fresh accommodation at the thriving heart of the popular Hastings neighbourhood of St Leonards. It is the picture perfect getaway for two by the coast.

This Victorian apartment is located in St Leonards-on-Sea, the neighbouring town to Hastings. The two towns, though practically joined to one another, each have their own distinct character. St Leonards, with its independent shops, small caf├ęs and tearooms is more sedate and, according to locals, the more elegant of the two, whilst Hastings is a busier town, with high street shops and a bustling sea front which is accessed via a fun funicular railway which runs down the cliff.

This stunning lower ground floor apartment is stylish and understated, which you will see as soon as you enter through the front door. The hallway is spacious with room to hang your coats and leave your boots. The open-plan lounge/kitchen/dining room is located to the rear of the property and features the original wooden floors and has two French doors which open onto the patio garden. The lounge area has a sofa and armchair and TV with DVD/Blu Ray player. In the dining area, there is an extendable wooden table, which sits between the two French windows. The kitchen area is fully equipped with electric oven, gas hob, dishwasher, microwave, fridge/freezer and washer/dryer. The bedroom is tastefully decorated and fully carpeted with a king-size bed, bedside table, large wardrobe and plantation shutters to the windows. The bathroom has a shower over bath with a glass shower door.

To the rear of the property, French doors open onto the enclosed patio with sea views, there is a table and chairs here and steps lead down to a lawn. There is parking outside the property.

Lovely little apartment which couldn't have been better. The only downside would be where it is located as you have a good 1.25 to 1.5 mile walk to get to any decent nightlife, the old town being the furthest which had the best atmosphere at night. We had a wonderful time in St.Leonards. Appartment was perfect. Very clean and comfortable. Nice welcome with basics and ample information about Hastings and St. Leonards. Parking took a little more effort than expected based on the description, but was not a problem.

A well presented, comfortable and peaceful apartment and a good base for an enjoyable holiday in East Sussex.However not recommended for those with any walking or mobility issues, as it is approached by a flight of steep stone steps and often difficulty parking outside or nearby.
