This stylish cottage is situated in the medieval town of Rye with easy access to nearby Camber Sands and the surrounding Sussex countryside.

Situated in the historic town of Rye, which boasts independent shops, cafes and restaurants along with spectacular views across the Sussex coastline, this property is perfect for foodies and walkers alike. Rye is full of character and charm, why not explore the many cobbled streets or climb the church tower for spectacular views across the roof tops and surrounding countryside. Historic Bodiam Castle, Rye Harbour Nature Reserve and Great Dixter House and Gardens are close by too, perfect for those looking to soak up a bit of local culture. With a wide range of footpaths and cycle routes on the doorstep, this is the perfect base for a couples and families looking to escape it all.

Enter the cottage on the ground floor into a large lounge which is light and airy with many original features. Curl up on one of the two sofas in front of the coal effect wood burning stove with a good book after a busy day sightseeing. Stairs from the lounge lead down to the lower-ground floor to the open-plan kitchen/diner and conservatory. The well-equipped kitchen offers an excellent space for entertaining and is equipped with an electric oven and gas hob, fridge/freezer dishwasher and washing machine. Enjoy preparing meals before heading into the dining area big enough for everyone. After dinner, either retire to the conservatory to enjoy a good film on the Smart TV/DVD or return upstairs to the lounge for some family board games. Stairs from the lounge lead up to the first floor where there are two bedrooms: a double and a single, the shower room with large shower and WC is also located on this floor. A further set of stairs lead from the single bedroom up to the second floor where the master king-size bedroom is located.

Heading outside there is a small patio area where you can enjoy a glass of wine on a summers evening. There is roadside parking available outside the property (subject to availability).

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

Lovely cottage. Great location two minutes from the High Street with good pub opposite. Clean and well equipped. Sadly not for the tall!
