The setting, with private fields was bliss with a dog. The house is very well equipped and maintained - so there are washing capsules for the washing machine, all the pool cues are in good order, everything you could possibly need in the kitchen, soap in the showers etc. All those things that many places scrimp on which annoy. This place is absolutely wonderful. We stayed as a group of 9 with kids and dogs and it was perfect. Plenty of room, so well equipped. Just fabulous, cant recommend it highly enough.

We had a great weekend at the West Hoy Oast. The jacuzzi was used everyday, twice by some of us always brilliant when the weather is cold. Lin and Nigel were the most helpful couple. The Oast house is lovely and spacious and equipped with everything you could need. Thanks for a super weekend.

This property is really well located. Several nice towns and villages are within easy distance, yet the property itself is secluded and tranquil. The actual house is wonderful and charming. We had a great weekend celebrating an 80th birthday with four generations. The house was perfect, very comfortable and clean and had everything we needed. What a beautiful place this is. We haven't been on holiday for 5 years so decided to spoil ourselves, and spoilt we were. Absolutely stunning scenery outdoors and plenty of space for our dog who had the time of his life , running freely and exploring. When looking for a family holiday home this one met everyone's requirements and it proved to be exceptional. Pool and hot tub checked every day by owners and used every day by family. Any minor problems immediately sorted. Plenty of space if you wanted some me time. Loved it.

We stayed at the Oast for a family weekend in the middle of May and had an amazing time. All the rooms are spacious and well equipped. We made use of all the facilities- as it was chilly when we arrived we lit the wood burner and used the excellent games room. The whole weekend was amazing, Lin and her husband were very helpful throughout the stay too. We brought our dog and small grand-child and the facilities for them, as well as the rest of our group were really good. We had a celebratory birthday whilst at the venue and our guests loved it. The house and gardens were amazing. Really great layout to promote communal gathering; be it inside for meals, games, relaxing; or outside around the pool and hot tub. 10 people stayed at the house for 2 nights as part of my 50th birthday celebrations. It was one of the few places I found that could sleep 5 coupled in double beds. We were all very impressed with the house and made good use of the hot tub. Fantastic holiday house for a mixed generation family holiday. The swimming pool was enjoyed by all with the added bonus of a hot tub and fantastic changing room. The house it's self provided everything we needed and we cooked family meals in the fabulous kitchen and the bbq in the garden.
