This elegant cottage with its simple yet stylish decor offers a calm and welcoming space. Also upstairs, is another relaxing king-size bedroom, tastefully decorated and with a light and airy en-suite. Outside, the beautifully tended cottage garden is a delight. Enjoy a refreshing drink on the patio and take in the lovely view of the fields beyond before lighting the BBQ for an al fresco meal.

The cottage is within easy reach of some lovely walks in the High Weald AONB. With the picturesque town of Rye just 11 miles away, days at the coast are also an option. The beautiful house and gardens at Great Dixter (5 miles), once the home of the gardening writer Christopher Lloyd, are well worth a visit for the horticulturally-minded. Alternatively, take a drive to the historic village of Battle (6 miles), named for the famous battle of 1066 where you can visit the ruined Abbey of St Martin and enjoy a stroll around the shops and restaurants.

Beautifully clean cottage in a wonderful countryside location with great views across the fields. Very peaceful, good WiFi, fairly close to several NT properties and woodland walks. Very suitable for 2 couples or a family of 4. The layout of the cottage works well & both bedrooms have large, en-suite facilities. A super place to stay. Great cottage in an excellent location. The cottage is well equiped and clean, a lovely little hamper of homemade jam, apple juice and eggs were lovely on our arrival. There are so many things to do and see in the area, I don't think we travelled further than 15 miles in any direction during our two week stay and there was still loads to do

Lovely cottage in a very peaceful location. However, you are only 25 minutes from Rye, Dungeness and other attractions. Views from the front of the cottage, across the fields, are stunning and there a number of good local country walks.

We had a thoroughly enjoyable week at Wisteria Cottage and cannot praise it too highly in terms of location, comfort, equipment and cleanliness. We were left an excellent welcome pack by the owners and there were many small touches around the place designed to make it more comfortable and enhance our stay. Had to trawl through a good deal of holiday homes before finding a little gem that suited two families. Two bedrooms with two bathrooms (with showers). Great living space with a small garden and space for two cars.

Really lovely cottage in ideal surroundings. The welcome pack was much appreciated and the owners friendly but not intrusive. There is so much to see and do in the area and we had reasonable weather to enjoy visits to Great Dixter, Sissinghurst and numerous NT properties.

Beautiful cottage with plenty of space in the room, dining area, garden. We loved our time there. We had a lovely time away from the city. Its amazing to be close to so many historical attraction. Very clean and quiet as well. We enjoyed our coffee time outside in the garden with some beautiful views. Highly recommended.

Wisteria Cottage was a delightful place to spend a few days with our young kids - well equipped and spacious, it is in a great locatino, rural enough to feel like a proper escape from the city, but near an enormous amount of things to see and do. The nearby ancient woodland was a nice surprise, which we tackled in the brooding autumnal rain.
