An enjoyable long weekend at this beautifully presented and clean cottage, with a dog-friendly fenced garden. Local pubs were accessible by short drives and we enjoyed the Ash Tree Inn (Ashburnham) and Rose & Crown (Burwash) in particular.

Weve had a lovely few days away, thank you. Everything just right. Having the log burner a bonus, and made the lounge very cosy. We brought our own logs from home.

What a lovely cottage. Immaculate inside and out and very well equipped. Would happily stay again. Previous reviews which commented on the road almost put me off booking, but Im so glad we did. A very comfortable and well equipped cottage with a large garden overlooking beautiful countryside. An ideal base for exploring the wide range of attractions in the area including NT properties, historic castles and coastal towns. Rye is particularly worth a visit and for something more unusual Dungeness old Lighthouse.
