Holiday cottages and self-catering accommodation in Pevensey Bay

Pevensey Bay is a small seaside resort in East Sussex with very good amenities and facilities. It’s well known amongst watersports fans and for some fine 1900s buildings characteristic of quaint Sussex villages. It is home to two churches, St Wilfrid's Church and Holy Rood Catholic Church, and a well-respected sailing club, the Pevensey Bay Sailing Club. Yachtbuilder Phil Morrison is counted amongst its members. With its lovely stretch of shingle beach and charming village setting, Pevensey is a great location for a peaceful holiday by the sea.

Next to the long shingle beach are the Pevensey Levels, a Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI), home to some rare plants and wildlife, including the lesser spotted fen raft spider. Pevensey Bay is well connected to the East Coastway railway link with routes to nearby towns. Places of historic interest include the English Heritage-managed Camber Castle and Martello Towers. It’s nice and close to Hastings and Rye for shops and further local places of interest, while past nearby Eastbourne you'll also find the famous white cliffs of Beachy Head and the Seven Sisters.

Find your perfect place to stay amongst our selection of Pevensey Bay cottages, holiday homes and self-catering accommodation above.
