Camber Sands beach is a wide beach that shelves very gently into the water and is staffed with lifeguards through the busy summer months. It is one of the best-loved in Sussex and on the South Coast, as it's a contrast to the several pebble and shingle beaches that line the rest of the coast. There’s ample space to simply lie back and relax and for the more adventurous, there are several water sports centres offering kite buggy lessons, kayak hire, stand-up paddleboards and kite surfing equipment, such as Rye Watersports. With so much to see and do all year round, our Camber Sands cottages are ideal for a break throughout the seasons. The lovely and unspoilt Romney Marsh is a short walk away, and there are nature reserves at Rye Harbour and Dungeness. The heritage Romney, Hythe and Dymchurch Railway departs from Dungeness travelling north up the coast.

This town is superb for a relaxing winter or autumn break - enjoy a spot of Christmas shopping in the nearby medieval Cinque Port town of Rye, take a stroll on the deserted beach or curl up with a mug of hot chocolate in your Camber Sands holiday cottage - perfect!
