Holiday cottages and self-catering accommodation in Sandhurst

Sandhurst in Kent is situated high on a ridge above marshlands. It is characterised by a number of houses that still retain their original wooden frames that, in some cases, date back as far as the 15th century. The village church of St Nicholas is situated a mile away from the centre. A place of historical interest located in the area is the Sandhurst smock windmill. Built in 1844, it was in full operation up until 1912. Having fell into a state of dereliction, the mill has since been rebuilt as a private dwelling that also provides wind power for its residents!

The roadside food vendors are good for local produce as is Sandhurst Farm Shop, which is well worth seeking out to get something different to throw in your picnic. Sandhurst Vineyard is also locally known for its fine wines.

Attractions close to our Sandhurst cottages include Diggerland, Bodiam Castle, Bedgebury National Pinetum & Forest, Royal Tunbridge Wells, Camber Sands, and Rye Harbour Nature Reserve. Find your perfect holiday from among our holiday homes and self-catering accommodation in and around Sandhurst.
